If you want to travel to the paradise on the Earth, 10 Nights Azerbaijan Trip has been arranged for You! By traveling Azerbaijan – known as a Fire Land, you will get a chance to be acquainted with language, culture, tradition, history and life style of Azerbaijan people.
It is better to imagine this trip as a whole tour package that includes 2 parts: Excursion to Baku, and different beautiful regions of Azerbaijan. From the first day till the end of the fourth day, that is planned to explore Baku city. At the beginning of the fifth day, the guests will departure to the regions (Lahij, Ismayilli, Gabala, Sheki, Gakh) with private vehicle.
One day after arrival date, the trip will start with Baku city tour in which Old City, Baku museums, and the shore of the Caspian Sea will be explored.
The next day, the guests will enjoy the excursion to Yanardagh (Fire Mountain) and Ateshgah Temple (Fire Temple). The temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. "Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle. Later, we proceed to Fire Mountain "-"Yanardagh" -a mountain on Absheron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word "Yanardagh" means "Blazing Mountain". Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. After lunch, there will be time for Shopping Tours at Park Bulvar Mall, Port Baku Mall, 28 Mall, Ganjlik Mall & and other Shopping Centers.
On the fourth day, the tour will start from Gobustan Museum where you will see ancient human bones, work tools used in back to thousand years ago during the Mesolithic period. Gobustan geographical region is situated in the west south of Baku. The meaning of the word Gobustan is derived from two words Gobu (ravine) and Stan (place), i.e. ravine area. The word gobu is also of Turkic origin and means a dried up river valley. Then, you will advance to the mountain in order to see real rock paintings in the open-air museum. In addition, during this trip you will get a great chance to see these amazing active volcanoes from very close distance. Azerbaijan keeps the first place in the world for the number of mud volcanoes. Mud volcanoes are markers of oil and gas deposits, along being sources of hot water, natural gas, and clay. About 300 mud volcanoes are to be found in Azerbaijan, at the shore, in the sea and on islands. Azerbaijan is a world leader, not only for the number but also for the activity of its volcanoes – some 60 percent of mud volcanoes are active here. The eruption of the Otman Bozdag volcano lasted over nine minutes. As a result of the volcanic eruption, the flame rose to the height of 350 meters. Mud waste of 100,000 cubic meters covers an area of about 10-12 hectare.

Located 185 km to the north-west of Baku, Ismayilli region is situated on the southern slopes of Greater Caucasus Mountains. The dark forests and outstanding mountains surround Ismayilli region, which adds up to the amazing nature of this northern territory; a part of the region is included to the Shahdag National Park. From the period of ancient Caucasian Albania till the modern time, a number of ancient monuments and architectures are well preserved; not only those but also colorful villages and traditional craftsmanship of the region attract tourists from all over the world.
Ancient settlements like Lahij, Basgal, and Ivanovka, Galadjyg, and Talystan villages stand out as leading historical and cultural places in the region. Small villages are scattered over the region along the road to Lahij, a place rich with 5th-7th century architectural buildings. Located at the height of 1200 m above sea level. Lahij settlement is declared as the reserve of history and culture. As there used to happen frequent earthquakes in the region, sophisticated and authentic construction techniques was developed. Visiting medieval water supply and sewage systems, and traditional jewelry, pottery, and iron tool workshops will be an amazing part of your memorable visit. The settlement is also famous for Carpet and rug crafts.

Garanohur Lake is located on mountainous area of Ismayilli district at 1600 meters above sea level. There are several itineraries to this lake from Talistan, Yukhari Diyalli/Guyum and Kohnedakhar villages, however, in wintertime the easiest is the way from Diyalli.

Set in a picturesque mountain area 380 km (235 m) from Baku, Sheki is not only surrounded by beautiful scenery, it’s a beautiful village itself. The most famous sight in Sheki is the Sheki Khans Palace, featuring incredible craftsmanship and built without using a single nail. Archaeological data show that Sheki has been inhabited for about 2,500 years, making it one of the oldest cities in the Caucasus. There are several architectural and archaeological places around the city, including the Gelersen-Gerersen Fortress (8th-9th centuries), numerous caravanserais, the Juma Mosque (18th century), the Gileilin Minaret (18th century), and medieval baths. Sheki is a major crafts center. Here, you can buy jewelry and engravings made by local artists.
